    VP of Finance

    The VP of Finance is responsible for the fiduciary duties of the chapter. The VP of Finance will manage all financial tasks within the chapter including various tasks such as accounting and budget reports, managing the Chapter’s bank account funds, counting and depositing all moneys from tickets sold, sponsorships, approving budget expenses, and managing all other monetary actions taken by the chapter. With the need for fundraising and sponsorship being paramount to the success of this project, the VP of Finance will chair the Fundraising and Sponsorship Committee. This position will lead their committee to also develop a B2B sponsorship target with allocated number of tickets to meet financial projections.

    VP of Operations & Logistics

    The VP of Operations & Logistics works closely with the Creative Director and the Creative Producer to plan logistics of the University Fashion Week Chapter Event. This includes various tasks such as booking locations, designing seating plans and floor plans to be communicated to the management team and UFW, coordinating tickets to be printed, and executing on the overall vision of the 3-day event. With a checklist of actionables, this position works hand in hand with the Creative Director with a focus on implementation. As some chapters might be capable of having sponsorship booths and brand booths, this position will work with various other leads such as Designer Relations and External Relations to establish a booth arrangement. The VP of Operations & Logistics will also oversee the Logistics and Production Committee. With the need to fill the associated booth booking, VP of Operations & Logistics will work with Casting, Designer Relations, External Relations and Marketing to make sure the booths are filled and occupied.

    VP of Designer Relations

    The VP of Designer Relations researches, networks, and books designers to present at the chapter University Fashion Week event. They are responsible for managing all requests from designers and ensuring that designers are taken care of with professionalism. They will work with Logistics to make sure respective booths are occupied. The VP of Designer Relations also works closely with the Creative Director to ensure that the designers selected to present align with the central vision of the season’s event. The VP of Designer Relations will work hard to ensure that designers who participate are up-and-coming designers looking for an experience to grow their brand awareness. They will also be responsible for sending out a thank you email with an offer for designers to sign up as a member in the UFW network. This portfolio will work closely with the VP of Casting to Co-chair the Hospitality, Wardrobe and Styling Committee.

    VP of Marketing

    The VP of Marketing is responsible for planning and executing a marketing campaign for the event. This includes posts on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter as well as content to be featured on the website. They will work closely with the VP of Digital Communications to plan photoshoots for social media and the website, and will also work closely with the VP of External Relations to develop experiential marketing plans with brands who choose to sponsor UFW. The VP of Marketing will also reach out to various local magazines and PR gurus to bring awareness to the chapter’s event with promotional offers, contests and giveaways to get them excited about the platform. With support from UFW, the position will develop press releases and highlight various blogs, news outlets and publications to target. They will work with Logistics to make sure respective booths are occupied. The VP of Marketing will also collaborate with the Executive Director of University Fashion Week to get their chapter exposure on upper management marketing channels. All tasks will be completed with a focus on ROI and conversions, this means working with the VP of External Relations to execute a strong sales strategy to meet the overall target of UFW. The VP of Marketing will also chair the Sales and Promotions Committee.

    VP of Digital Design & Communication n.

    The VP of Digital Communication is responsible for coordinating all digital design requests of the production, this ranges from event package design, posters, photography, and sourcing volunteer and partner photographers and videographers for the University Fashion Week event. The VP of Digital Communications is also responsible for updating the chapter website with content and photos from the event and interacting with UFW if there’s any edits needed for the website. The position is responsible for updating the executive positions on the website as well as working with the VP of Designer Relations on securing the required visuals for the show. They will work with the VP of Casting to ensure that there is a record of photos for all models who will be walking the event. They will also work closely with the VP of Marketing and assist with other marketing tasks. This position will chair the Design Committee.

    VP of External Relations

    The VP of External Relations is responsible for managing all brand, community and commercial partnerships for the University Fashion Week event. They will work to negotiate local chapter sponsorships while also coordinating with UFW’s upper management Market Relations Director of any incoming about national brand participation in the show. The VP of External Relations will work with the VP of Marketing to ensure that brands who partner receive an exceptional and professional experience while working with University Fashion Week. They will work with Logistics to make sure respective booths are occupied with vendors for the market place. This position will also develop club, departmental student unions, and campus society partnerships to secure various grants and opportunities that benefit their chapter’s strategy to meet its intended targets. The VP of External Relations will also be in charge of sending a thank you message and survey to all brands, models, and companies who partner with UFW to gather their feedback and ask about further participation with University Fashion Week.

    VP of Volunteer Coordination

    The VP of Volunteer Coordinations launches and manages a hiring campaign to staff the 3-day University Fashion Week event with volunteers. They are responsible for being the direct contact for all volunteers and for problem solving if volunteers are unable to show up for their shift. With a focus on improving the overall onboarding process of their chapter, this portfolio will work with UFW’s Executive Director in securing documents, forms, and information needed to ensure adequate information for training of volunteers. The Volunteer Coordinator will hold scheduled orientation meetings for incoming talents. The portfolio will create a UFW presentation to onboard volunteers which will include executive bios, event information, and history about UFW management and Skynation. Volunteers will be needed for all 3 days depending on how the vision of the event is executed. The Volunteer Coordinator will also be responsible for sending out a thank you email and survey to all volunteers who participate in order to gather feedback about the event as well as executing a volunteer appreciation event. This position will work with Logistics and the Creative Director to produce a manpower planning document that will outline the staffing needs for the event as well as a timetable for each volunteer. They will also work with Logistics, Casting, and the Creative Director to schedule tech rehearsals and walk throughs of the overall production.

    VP of Casting

    The VP of Casting is responsible for coordinating and managing all model casting calls for the event. They will recruit and select models to walk for the designers depending on designer requests. The VP of Casting will work with the sponsorship committee to book makeup artists and hair stylists to style the models for the event. The VP of Casting is also responsible for sending out a thank you email to all hair stylists, makeup artists, and models who participate in the event with an option for stylists, artists and models to sign up as a UFW member within our network. The VP of Casting will also oversee the Hospitality, Wardrobe and Styling Committee.
